Education a Key to Success

Education can be defined as  the act or process of educating or being educated. This definition is from a personal perspective. There are three types of education, the formal, informal and non-formal. Personally I have had the chance to experience formal education as well as have reservations about it, I have also had the chance to hear some concern of people. People from different background have different opinions when it comes to education, but the one fact for sure and it is that getting a formal education is the key to becoming successful in life. The goal of this paper is elaborate on these points.                                                                                                     

Gaining a formal education is beneficial in setting one on the right career path. It gives one an upper hand over someone who is below your education level. When it comes to the workplace, anytime a leadership position or an opening is available one key requirement management look for is the level of education an individual has. Also lets just take a quick look at the neighborhood in which one may find themselves in, see how the educated are treated and they are mostly able to do if not all most of the things they want in life. Being educated provides more advantages and a better life for individuals and their families.                                                                                                                                      

There are people who also believe that they can still be successful without getting any formal education and yes, while this technically true, there have been and there are people who still made a successful life without education base on the choices that they made. One other thing that acts as a disadvantage is the cost of education. The cost of education in this modern world is very expensive, and that is one of the reasons why people chose not pursue further education. However the government and other organizations have provided grants, scholarships and loans to help with the cost of education. In some cases there in no need to pay back the money and in other cases individuals would have to pay back the money after completing their education.  

Education in the past was not a big deal. People still made it they went about their life without worrying about the level of education an individual has. This is not the case nowadays as individuals started educating themselves the is becoming a better place, technology is always improving and the more developed a country is the more opportunity its citizens have.

The education level of a country determines their standard of living. As a result of this not going to school people are forced to work low for minimum wages. They do not get the promotions they deserve even when they have the skills needed, their education level would still be a big disadvantage to them.                                          

A conclusion can therefore be drawn that when it comes to whether or not education is key to success the answer will be in the affirmative. From the above explanation it is clear that education make us all better individual. It helps us in all aspect of life in our finance and makes life a happier place.
