Weaver's Silence

 Prologue: The Weaver’s Lament Before time was a concept, prior to the emergence of light swaying in the emptiness, was only the Web—and the Weaver who spun it.   Ananse, the spider-god did not create out of love, or out of interest. It wove because that was what it had always done. Strand by strand, realities blossomed in the silence between its legs, each universe a glittering node in the infinite tapestry.
